For the Papakura Central Drainage investigation project, we partnered with Watershed to address stormwater drainage issues and improve groundwater dispersion. Our work involved three stages:
Stage 1: We conducted physical works, including vacuuming cesspits, flushing stormwater lines, and performing CCTV inspections. The output was an investigation report with recommendations to resolve pooling issues.
Stage 2: Based on Stage 1 findings, our team developed a drainage design solution for remediation, outlining requirements for channel drains and new soakage pits.
Stage 3: We implemented the design solution by installing 68 meters of channel drains, three new pits, and repairing three pipe sections. This approach ensured effective management of stormwater and groundwater for Papakura Central.
