For the Kiwirail NAL Disaster Recovery Package D & 223km project, we provided engineering and supervision support across six sites. The work involved installing culverts, track side drainage systems, track formation repairs, and constructing retaining walls. Our responsibilities included managing safety, environmental, and quality documentation to meet John Holland’s standards, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing commercial management. We ensured that production schedules were accurate, design requirements were met, and quality assurance (QA) checks were carried out. Additionally, we handled project documentation, developed and reviewed activity method statements (AMS) and task risk assessments (TRA), and conducted on-site safety, environmental, and quality audits.
